My February lust list

by - 09:23

Follow my blog with Bloglovin As we are going into Spring, I thought I would share with you my clothing lust list for the next few weeks. How I managed to cut these items down to just 5 was basically impossible. Now the weather isn't as rubbish as it has been for the past few weeks, I decided to cut away from your standard jumpers etc and more into a warmer season.

1. Shirt dresses

For someone who is not skinny enough to wear tight dresses, and someone who definitely can't resist a pizza before a night out, blouse dresses are the perfect answer. They cover up all my lumps and bumps in the wrong areas, and they're pefect to match up with my black knee high boots. Try out this green one from MissGuided, and if you're lucky enough to catch them on a discount day, then it's really good value.

2. Boyfriend jeans

For the first time in forever (literally), I have decided to step away from the skinny jean. This was a bit of a risk for me because I am a little chubby on the tummy with a bit of a muffin top without the Kim K curves. Topped with the right top half, and some trainers they are a lot more comfortable and flattering than you might think. I've started wearing mine with long crop tops, long enough to hide my muffin but long enough that you can tell it's  crop top. Stepping away from skinny is my new look, and it should be yours too!

3. Rose gold trainers

Although I don't actually own a pair, I love rose gold trainers. Especially these ones from Nike. I think that they go well with black skinny jeans, and are perfect for this Spring. Rose-gold has been a thing ever since Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs watches became the trend for watches, so to take the most valuable colour and bring them into trainers is an a+ idea.

4. Band tops

We aren't all rock and roll, well, I am definitely not, I love Little Mix far too much, but the in-thing this season is definitely a band-top with a pair of jeans (notice how I didn't say skinny!). Missguided do a great range of band tops and band dresses, like this one here which is an absolute bargain! Feel brave, get one.

5. Blazers

Blazers to me are so old school, and I definitely haven't worn one since work experience probably in year 11, so 6 years ago. However, River Island have brought out a great range of pastel coloured blazers, so that you can wear them dressed up or dressed down whatever the occasion. I think they can snazz up any look, making it look a lot more sophisticated.
